Uwe Herbstreit
was born in Freiburg, Germany.
He completed his studies in Physical Therapy in 1995 at the Institute for Physical Therapy (LFK) in Bad Krozingen.
During his time at Rheintal Clinic, Bad Krozingen, Germany a rehabilitation center specializing in orthopedic patients, Uwe was first introduced to the Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis methods.
In 2001, he opened his first physical therapy practice in Bad Krozingen, Germany where he continues to integrate the Gyrotonic system with his extensive knowledge of therapy for both acute and chronic orthopedic conditions.
Over the next eight years, he worked closely with Rolf Luxemburger - a legendary athletic coach and sports physical therapist - mastering advanced techniques that would define his professional path.
Together with Elena Spaziani, Uwe co-founded Gyrotonic Eaglesnest - the European Educational Center in Münstertal, Germany - which he co-directed from 2009 to 2015.
After numerous trainings with Juliu Horvath and an extensive apprenticeship under Mentor and Master Trainer Paul Horvath, Uwe began teaching Therapeutic Applications courses in 2008. Since then, his courses and therapeutic methods have been widely attended and highly regarded.
Today, his expertise attracts an international clientele, including professional soccer players, cyclists, and other athletes who benefit from his innovative therapy approach.
